Amrit Sethia: My journey began with an engineering degree, which provided a strong technical foundation. After graduation, I spent two years gaining practical work experience, which gave me valuable industry insights.

I then pursued a Master’s in Management from Warwick Business School in the UK, which broadened my management skills and global perspective. Joining the family business felt like a natural progression. I started from the ground up, learning the ropes at the factory level.

This hands-on experience was invaluable, giving me a deep understanding of our operations. Over time, I worked my way up to head the garmenting vertical, and this comprehensive experience led to my current role as Vice President at SOIE – Ginza Industries Ltd.

We have developed new  fabrics that enhance comfort and performance, particularly in our activewear and lingerie collections. Our lingerie range now includes seamless bras designed for a smooth look under clothing.

We’re also working on expanding our shapewear line with more versatile and body-friendly options. These innovations reflect our commitment to meeting our customers’ evolving needs and staying at the forefront of the industry.

How does SOIE – Ginza Industries Ltd approach market trends and consumer preferences in product development?

Amrit Sethia: We closely monitor Global market trends, with an eye on International & Domestic styles that are gaining traction,and gather consumer feedback, shopping behaviour and demand trends to arrive at better informed product development & marketing strategies.

Our in-house design and marketing teams work in tandem to identify emerging trends and incorporate them into our product lines. We conduct regular surveys and engage with customers through various channels to understand their preferences and pain points.

This customer-centric approach ensures our products resonate with their needs and lifestyles, keeping us relevant and competitive.

What future growth strategies or expansion plans is SOIE – Ginza Industries Ltd considering?
