The journey of a woman surviving breast cancer is nothing less than transformative, as it affects every aspect of her life, including how she sees herself and her body, and also affects her overall mental health and well-being. Choosing a bra for many survivors after mastectomy has become a significant part of recovery. Many breast cancer survivors no longer prefer to wear what were once thought to be the appropriate postoperative brassieres for comfort and support. Instead, more women are moving towards wearing regular-standard bras. The Quest for Comfort For breast cancer survivors, comfort is the top priority. Especially as their mind and body go through a physical and emotional toll due to the chemotherapy and surgery procedure.
